The college campus, clean and green, has multi - storied buildings with spacious, bright, and well-ventilated classrooms. The science and computer laboratories are well – equipped. In addition, we have Bio- Technology lab, English Language lab & Commerce lab. The computerised library stocked with the latest editions of books and numerous national and international journals cater to the students’ reading interests. A digital library section also offers the latest online reading material. Centralised generator facility enables the smooth functioning of the administrative and lab work.

Research

The departments of English, History, Chemistry, Botany, Commerce, MBA and MCA have been recognized as research departments and the students are guided in their post graduate dissertations, M.Phil thesis and Ph.D programmes. 53% of the faculty are recognized guides for the research, 7% are undergoing research and they publish and present papers regularly. The college has on its roll, 47 M.Phil and 35 Ph.D scholars, as on date. Many of the major and minor projects as well as FIP programmes are being sponsored by the UGC.

Recreation

An internet cafe, a language and multi –media lab with television and other audio-visual aids as well as a gym encourage students to possess a healthy mind in a healthy body.

Hostel

The college has a hostel situated 2 kms away. Accommodation with nutritious food, vegetarian and non–vegetarian, is provided to nearly 1000 students. Buses ply to and from the hostel in the mornings and in the evenings, providing transport facilities for the residents. The secretary, Smt.R. Nandini is the Chief Warden. Other facilities in the hostel include a Gym, STD booth, photocopier, library, stores, and beauty parlour.
